We are a scrap metal recycler,
we accept all non-ferrous metals.

We will explain what they are, as well as give examples, and descriptions. This should provide you with a clear understanding of what is accepted.

Steel and Stainless Steel

Steel and iron are some of the most recycled metal commodities in the world with more than 94 million tons a year recycled.

Scrap steel is recovered from automobiles, buildings and structures, railroad tracks, bridges, stadiums, ships, farm equipment and infinitely recycled to make these items again.

Stainless steel is most commonly found in industrial applications, the most common types are 316, 304, and 400 series stainless steel. All of which we accept.

316 included:
- sheets
- piping
- turnings
- tubing.

This alloy is most commonly used in high heat and petrochemical applications.

The approximate chemistry of 316 is:
- 16% chrome
- 10% nickel,
- 2% molybdenum
- 72% iron.

304 includes:
- sheets
- piping
- tubing
- turnings
- and even the kitchen sink!

The approximate chemistry of 304 is approximitlety
- 17% chrome
- 8% nickel
- 75% iron.

400 includes:
- sheet
- tubing
- turnings.

This material is most commonly used in environments that are not in high heat or corrosive environments.

A common application of 400 series stainless is in appliances and automotive applications.

There are many other types and grades of stainless steels that we purchase as well.

We also purchase all types of alloys in solids or turnings form as well which include, but not limited to:

- Inconels
- Incoloys
- Hastalloys
- Waspalloy
- Monels,
- Tool Steels
- Tungsten Carbide
- Mallorys.

The value of these items differs tremendously based on the alloy, if the alloy is segregated or mixed, and the quantity.

Aluminum

Aluminum is Earth's third most abundant element above the surface, and the first within the crust.

Aluminum is a chemical element with symbol Al and atomic number 13. It is a silvery white, soft, ductile metal. Aluminum is remarkable for the metal’s low density and for its ability to resist corrosion.

Aluminum alloys, which are either cast or wrought, are engineered to achieve application specific characteristics.

We purchases all type of aluminum including:
- clean aluminum solids
- beverage cans, foil
- turnings
- chips
- aluminum breakage
- insulated aluminum wire
- as well as aluminum that contains
non-aluminum attachments

Copper

Copper is used in a wide variety of scenarios. Some of the most popular ways are as a heat and electricity conductor, for the purpose of building material, and also used in other alloys to create different types of metals.

Copper is a chemical element with the symbol Cu and its atomic number is 29.

When pure copper is very soft and moldable. It tends to have a red-orange color.

Brass

Brass is a commonly found in homes and industrial machinery.

There are different types of brass, yellow and red are the most common types.
However, other alloys can be created with brass.

Approximate chemistry of Yellow Brass is:
- between 60-65% copper
- and 30% zinc.

The approximate chemistry of Red Brass is approximitlety:
- 85% copper
- 5% zinc
- 5% lead
- and 5% tin.

Other typed of brasses include hard brass which is most commonly used as:
- liner or gears
- spent brass shells
- plumbing fixtures
- sheets or clips
- and valves.
